2. As of the 2nd season of the MMC, we foresee to give the title of Honor Dj to the Dj who will have scored the biggest number of listening, all pools combined, which would ensure him a reserved spot in the next season of the MMC. Even if his spot is reserved, the Honor Dj will have to follow the MMC rules in order to participate.
-Article C.1.1
1. Theft and plagiarism of mixes are strictly prohibited and will lead to a withdrawal of the mix from all platforms as well as the disqualification of the Dj from the MMC’s current season.
2. The voting system was designed to highlight your Dj’s work, so 1 vote = 1 vote and it is the only number that counts to determine the winner. This implies that 1 listening is not equal to 1 vote and is not counted for the nomination of the winners (except in the context of the Honor Dj).
3. Since the purpose of the contest is to showcase your work, it is normal for people to listen to your work before voting. According to this logic, a DJ may be disqualified if the number of votes exceeds the number of plays or if this number is a 0. Such a case is considered a fraud by the organizers and will therefore leads to removing the mixes from all the platforms, withdrawal of any title gained in the contest as well as the related benefits (publications, articles, etc.), if applicable, it will also result in the banning of the offending DJ for 3 seasons of the MMC (excluding the season in which the fraud was detected).
4. The mixes are not exclusive to the contest and can be broadcast and listened elsewhere by the Djs who created them. However, any external listening to the Twins Productions platforms can’t be counted under the Mix Master Contest (even as part of the Honor Dj’s program).
5. The mixes sent to Twins Productions as part of the MMC remain the Djs property but he agreed that Twins Productions can use them as part of publications, playlists, etc. in its activities.
6. The DJ providing a mix and/or image to Twins Productions releases it from any copyright or other law / policy / settlement liability in relation to the work provided.
7. Spotify, Tidal, Wetransfer and Jay Z are independent companies / individuals and are not related to this contest or the Twins Productions in any way.
